Some important facts about Ambati Rayudu


Ambati Rayudu is an Indian right-handed middle batsman.

He was born on   23 September 1985 in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. He played domestic cricket for Hyderabad.

 He captained the ICC under-19 world cup for India in 2004. He eventually made his international debut in July 2013, in an ODI against Zimbabwe.

His full name is Ambati Thirupathi Rayudu and brother name Rohit Rayudu.

He was firstly played for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2010 and then now for Chennai super kings.

Rayudu married on 14 February 2009 a college friend, Chennupalli Vidya.

Rayudu has been involved in confrontations with players and umpires throughout his career.He was fined 100% of his match fee for using obscene and abusive language against opposition player Harshal Patel after a match.  he was also involved in an on-field spat with Mumbai Indians teammate Harbhajan Singh.

In world cup 2019, he tweeted ” Just Ordered a new set of 3d glasses to watch the world cup” after the selectors dropped him about Vijay Sankar.

He announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on July 2, 2019. However, he said that willing to play all forms of cricket.

He pulls  u-turn wants to play for Hyderabad.
